Nayantara with Dileep and Siddhique

A few months ago, Lingusamy had signed Nayantara for a whopping fee of more of than one crore for his big budget project Paiya. Now, the shocking news for all Nayantara fans is that she is out of Lingusamy's Paiya, produced by his brother Bose. Industry buzz says Trisha will now do this role.

Now, the latest update about the costliest actress in the South is that she will act in a Malayalam film by ace director Siddhique, produced by Johny Sagarika and starring Dileep. The film would probably be Bodyguard, a confirmed upcoming venture by the same Siddhique-Dileep-Sagarika team. The pooja of Bodyguard is to be held on 12th December at Kochi and the shoot is also scheduled to begin by the end of next week. Since some sources indicate that Dileep's lucky heroine Kavya Madhavan will be the female lead in Bodyguard, we must wait a little for official confirmation that Nayantara is in this film.

According to sources, Nayantara is also expected to do yet another Malayalam film titled Bombay Dreams by director Padmakumar starring actor-script writer Anoop Menon in the lead. Her role in Bombay Dreams is said to be like those of Manasinakkare and Rappakal. Nayantara recently made a cameo appearance in director Joshi's multi-starrer Twenty:20 (Malayalam), which has all the artistes including Mammootty, Mohanlal, Jayaram, Suresh Gopi, Dileep, Prithviraj and others sharing screen space.
