Nandhi: Akhil's next

Akhil, who won rave reviews for his performance in Kalloori and Vaalmiki, has bagged his next project! He will soon be seen in director Tamilvannan's next venture Nandhi, believed to be an action packed thriller. Sanusha of Renigunta fame plays the female lead.

“Nandhi is the mount of Lord Shiva. It is generally believed that those on their way to worshipping Lord Shiva must first pay obeisance to Nandhi. Similarly, a character in my film considers himself to be important and expects everybody else to bow down to his wishes. However, my film’s protagonist refuses to do so. The conflict between the two is what forms the crux of Nandhi,” the director said to a leading English daily.
