Is Nandalala postponed?
Kollywood grapevine says Mysskin’s Nandalala might take some more time to see the light of day. Originally planned for release on February 20th – this saga about a demented man and a young boy’s search for their respective mothers – seems to have been postponed to March owing to unavailability of theatres. But there is no official word from Ayngaran International on this yet.
Nandalala is not the only movie which is facing this difficulty. In fact, about 15 movies were supposed to release this month, but many backed off due to unavailability of theatres.
Meanwhile, the three movies that released last week – Siva Manasula Sakthi, Kudiarasu, Perumal – are doing well. Siva Manasula Sakthi has left the other two movies behind in the box-office race and its demand in the market has encouraged the producers to release more prints.
