Nadigar Sangam Membership compulsory
A new rule has been enforced by Nadigar Sangam that requires every actor and actress working in Kollywood films to be a member of this association. This decision was taken in a meeting on June 8, 2008 at the T. Nagar office. Radha Ravi, chief secretary of the association, announced this officially in the meeting.
The association has also issued a deadline of June 30, 2008 for actors of Kollywood who have not yet enrolled in the association. If they fail to enrol as members on or before this date, they will not receive any benefits or help from the association, and the members of the association have been advised not to provide any help or support to them; if they did so, they might incur disciplinary action upon themselves.
