Various Muslim organisation in Chennai has demanded a ban on the release of Kamal Haasan's long-awaited Vishwaroopam, which they think will affect the social harmony. Top personalities from various parties met the City Police Commissioner S George on Tuesday demanding that the screening of the movie be banned. Earlier Kamal Haasan has organised a special screening for them following their demand.
The film, which is made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, is all set to hit screens on Jan 25 in 500 screens across TN. The film also stars Rahul Bose, Shekar Kapur, Pooja Kumar and Andreah in important roles. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy is the music director.
