Murugadoss: No reshoot for Ghajini
Murugadoss dismissed the news about reshooting Ghajini (Hindi) as baseless rumours. A few days ago, it was reported that Aamir Khan was dissatisfied with a few scenes and requested Murugadoss for a re-shoot. Murugadoss explained it was not a re-shoot that they were discussing, but a song sequence – Asin, who got busy with London Dreams, is yet to complete a song for Ghajini and the crew was waiting for her to report and complete the song. When she returned, they began preparing for the song’s shoot, which was misquoted by the press.
Murugadoss said Aamir Khan is extremely happy with the way the film has come out. He added that Ghajini will break many records in Bollywood – it will all begin with the number of prints. The current record (1250+) is held by Singh Is Kinng. Due to extreme demands that Ghajini has in the market, it has been decided to release the film with 1300 or 1400 prints!
Murugadoss made it very clear that his next point of focus will be a Kollywood project. In fact, he has turned down several offers from bigwigs like Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar to concentrate on Tamil films. It only means that there is a big blockbuster on its way!
