Rajkiran in MGR Illam�

Director, storywriter and film director V.C.Gurunathan is bringing out his 250th film, MGR Illam. Rajkiran takes up the role of the elder brother who sacrifices his life for his four younger brothers. Rajkiran is a ticket seller in a theatre who becomes a loyal person like MGR by watching MGR's movies and getting inspired by them. The problems he faces by turning out to be a loyal and considerate person is what the story is all about. Poovai Sengootuvan and Pirai Soodan have written five songs for this film. M.S.Viswanathan has composed the music for these songs. “I was touched on hearing these songs. Among all the men I have met, MGR is the man who has lived a life as a real human. I feel that it is his soul that has granted me the chance to act in a film that carries his name as the title. I feel so proud to act in this film,” said Rajkiran.
