Meera in sisterly roles

Meera Jasmine is one actress not wary of accepting offbeat roles. Gorintaku, one of her big hits in Telugu has been dubbed in Tamil as Marudani where Meera and Dr. Rajasekhar played siblings with total affection.

Meera joins hat-trick hero Shivarajakumar in Devari Kotta Thangi – the twosome enacting the brother-sister role. Interestingly, the movie's title is the same as the yesteryear hit starring Dr. Rajkumar and B.V. Radha in lead roles.

“Though the title is the same, the theme is totally different,” says director Om Saiprakash.
