Mayandi Kudumbathar music review!

Mayandi Kudumbathar, directed by Rasu Madhuravan, has ten top directors in the cast. Wrapping up the shooting of the talkie portion, the crew is waiting for director Seeman to dub for his part. Sabesh-Murali have composed eight songs for the film.

'Kalavaaniye' sung by Madhumitha and Renjith. 'Mudhal Mazhaiye' by Balram and Saindhavi has a sweet ring to its tune. 'Pesama Pesama' is a solo by Seeman. There is very little melody in the song but the unusual emotion in its lyrics makes up for the same. Prasanna's pleasant voice timbre comes to the fore in 'Poo Vithal', a melody. 'Poonkodi' the next solo, is also by Prasanna. His voice registers with a depth and an amazing presence throughout the song. ' Onna Thaangave', a duet by Vijetha and Vijay Yesudas, treads the conventional route and also has some fanciful touches in its tune. 'Poothu Siricha', a different melody, is in the voice of Krishnaraj, the commendable singer with a memorable voice. Thanjai Chinna Ponnu of 'Nakka Mukka' fame croons along with Jayamoorthy for the signing-off song 'Vandanamayya' in the album.

Mayandi Kudumbathar has some rare musical offerings from composers Sabesh-Murali.
