There is no doubt that ace director Mani Ratnam is a magician when it comes to cinema. Here is an interesting example... Mani and his Kadal team is currently shooting on the coasts of Tuticorin, The film has Karthik's son Gautham and Samantha in lead roles. The team apparently wanted to shoot some important sequence in a church but when the director sensed that the people around are not comfortable he decided to opt for a set.
When the set was completed, people were surprised to see the realistic artworks. Now people there doesn't want the set to go down and the director also decided the same.
Kadal 's technical team comprises of Rajiv Menon (cinematography), A.R. Rahman (music), Sreekaran Prasad (editing) and Madras Talkies (producer). The star cast also has Arjun, Lakshmi Manchu, Pasupathy, Lal and Thambi Ramaiah.Mani's magic in Tuticorin!
