Mani Ratnam in West Bengal

West Bengal seems to be the next stop for Mani Ratnam and his Raavan/ Ashokavanam crew! After filming in the forests of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh, Mani Ratnam will hold the shooting of his forthcoming bilingual in West Bengal. We can say this with confidence as there have been reports confirm that Mani Ratnam along with several actors including Vikram and the film crew have checked into a hotel in Kolkata! Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan will join them soon.

There is also talk that Mani is planning to can a song in Agarpura (a place near Kolkata) with Aishwarya Rai, because a group of dancers were seen rehearsing at this place. Following this, Mani might film in Sunderbans, or Bolpur, or Creek Row, the places that he checked out immediately after landing in Kolkata!
