Mani Ratnam denies accident rumours

The shooting of Mani Ratnam’s Guru is going in a set erected in Guindy, Chennai. Mani Ratnam is directing this movie under his own production house Madras Talkies. Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, Madhavan and Vidhya Balan play the lead roles in the movie.

Rumours were flying that, after the usual shooting wound up at 6 in the evening, and after all the artists had left, the set collapsed hurting a few people. It is reported that Madras Talkies denied all such rumours saying that no such accident took place, and that no one was hurt.

If at all an accident had occurred, the production house would have filed for insurance coverage (which they didn’t)! So obviously, the whole accident rumour is just the active imagination of some people.
