Malavika: All set to return

Malavika enjoyed the lucky mascot reputation in Kollywood ever since her `Valu Meenu Velanga Meenu' number did wonders in Chithiram Pesuthadi. After her sabbatical of one year after the birth of her daughter, the pretty actress is on a comeback mode.

Malavika is all set to appear in a cameo in Manmadha Leelai, directed by TV fame Mangai Harirajan. The movie stars five heroines. Malavika has left her mark even in minuscule roles and she is game for item numbers too. She left her indelible mark in Vasool Raja MBBS and Perazhagan with her glamour roles falling in sync with the storyline.

Meanwhile, the title of Manmadha Leelai has run into rough weather. Ace director K. Balachander, who directed the Kamal Haasan starrer with the same name in the mid 70s, said he has registered the title in the Producers' Council. Expressing his interest to direct the remake venture too, KB said he has not been approached  by anyone for the title rights.
