Va - Quarter Cutting role excited me: Lekha Washington

South Indian actress Lekha Washington is one busy person these days; she is currently busy with Peter Gaaya Kaam Se in Hindi, Va - Quarter Cutting in Tamil and Thunta Thunti in Kannada. This former IPL anchor has has just finished shooting her maiden Hindi film.

Interestingly, Lekha Washington plays the role of a 19 year-old girl in her upcoming Tamil film Va - Quarter Cutting. "I play a 19-year-old with suicidal tendencies. I accepted this role because it is a challenging role,  a chance to really act. And no, I don't relate much to the character because I'm not 19 and I don't have suicidal tendencies!" she said.

"The script was refreshingly different. And this was something I had to do as it was directed by Pushkar and Gayatri, my closest pals," she added.
