Lawrence: I would like to concentrate on acting

Raghava Lawrence – whose directorial venture Muni received raves in Kollywood and who rocked Tollywood as a director of Mass, Style and Don – has decided to concentrate on his acting career for the moment. Apart from his acting and directorial skills, he is extremely famous for his benevolence; recently he converted his luxurious bungalow into an old-age home and is residing in a rented apartment now.

In a move indicating that he wants to concentrate more on his acting career, Lawrence has signed contracts for two movies: Aravaaram to be directed by Bharatan and a film for Super Good Films. He will engage himself with these films once he has finished his work in in Rajadhi Raja (also referred to as Rajathi Raja). He has reportedly commented that with several producers and directors approaching him with interesting scripts, he decided not to waste this chance which he might not get again as change is the only thing permanent – be it Kollywood or any place.

As far as direction is concerned, Lawrence has written a lot of interesting film scripts that he would like to direct at some future time. He is quite confident that his ideas and scripts would make super hit films.

It is to be noted that Lawrence spends almost half of his earnings on the old-age home and other benevolent projects that he supports.
