Lajin B.S. turns director with Mumbai 26/11

Perhaps Lajin B.S. is a name unfamiliar to most of moviegoers, but in the film circuit, it is quite well-known!

Lajin B.S. has been present in the Malayalam-Tamil film industries since 2003 as an assistant director to several famous directors like Baburaj, Vinayan, A.M. Bhaskar and Bhoopathy in their films Sundharikutty, Vanchakan, Indhavaram, Pargalaampazahkalam, Janakan and Unnai Kadu Nan Adu.

Having earned ample experience as assistant direction in a career of seven years, Lajin B.S. is now getting ready to direct his first straight film titled Mumbai 26/11 in Malayalam.

As the title indicates, the film is based on the Mumbai attacks. It stars new faces Padmakumar, Priyanka and Shan Prabhakaran in the lead. Producted by B.S. Productions, Mumbai 26/11 is scripted by Shiva. The first schedule will begin in December. The film will be shot in Mumbai, Russia and Malaysia.
