Kumar Sanu’s first Tamil film song

Eminent Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu has finally sung for a Tamil film. When you watch Iyntham Padai, a unique voice that sounds nasal yet has sufficient bass will astound you when the song ‘Aaradi Rakshashano’ is played! That is Kumar Sanu – a voice that is quite unique and highly pleasant!

Though many Bollywood singers like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhonsle, Udit Narayan and Sadhna Sargam have sung in Tamil films, Kumar Sanu remained away from Tamil films till date. There had been many discussions earlier with Kumar Sanu to make him sing in a Tamil film, but due to various reasons, it could not work out. But now finally Iyntham Padai has added him as one of its main attractions.

Though some Bollywood singers take great care to get the pronunciation of Tamil words right, sometimes the remnants of their North Indian accent is still found in the songs. But even this is enjoyed by the Tamil audience! They accept it as just another style! This only shows their eclectic taste.
