Khatta Meetha: Huge bonus for Trisha

Trisha playing two characters in her Bollywood entry Khatta Meetha is seen as a good augury. Though it is not a dual role, the well-etched characters where she will be seen in two different time zones excites her.

"This is a huge bonus for me," says Trisha, who enjoys a good rapport with director Priyadarshan. “I owe my debut in Tamil (Lesa Lesa) to Priyan and this time, the canvas seems to be even bigger. In any case, I would have blindly done a Priyadarshan film who has kept his word of giving me an opening in Bollywood. There are some directors with whom you long to work and Priyan is one among them. In his movies, heroines are not mere dolls giving company to the lead man in the songs. I could not wait for the shoot to begin,� says Trisha with the enthusiasm of a schoolgirl on her first holiday.
