The Kaththi team, including Vijay and Samantha, got back to Chennai after shooting a song in Hyderabad, to start their second schedule here. This schedule is likely to last a month and will commence from April 7. It is said that around 30% of the film has been filmed and the movie is expected to be a Diwali treat for Vijay fans.
The Kaththi team was looking forward to release the movie's first look on Tamil New Year’s day. However, as lots of pending work is to be completed, the team is not sure if they would be able to release the first look as specified.
