Looks like Vikram's magnum opus Kanthaswamy (Mallana in Telugu), directed by Susi Ganeshan will finally hit the screens on August 15.
Reliable sources have informed Galatta.com that the movie will be released in theatres on India's Independence Day. Kanthaswamy, which has been in the making for nearly two years, is Vikram's most anticipated film. The versatile actor pairs with sizzling Shriya for the first time.
Produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu, the movie is touted to be one of the most expensive films made in Kollywood. Its grandeur is expected to be a never before seen cinematic experience.
The music of the film composed by Devi Sri Prasad and released under the Sony Music label has been very well received by the masses.
