Kamal's name not deleted!
There have been reports that names of many prominent people have been missed out due to unknown reasons. The concerned authorities seem to be giving various reasons at various times. Yesterday, Kamal Haasan could not vote because his name was missing from the voters' list; he has been voting regularly for several years from the same polling booth.
By evening, Naresh Gupta, Chief Electoral Officer of Tamil Nadu, issued a statement of clarification that Kamal's name has not been deleted; it was in a different polling booth from the regular one.
Now what is the use of giving a clarification when the elections are over? The actor has not been able to vote, although he wanted to and that is saddening! Kamal Haasan is currently shooting for Unnai Pol Oruvan in Hyderabad at Ramoji Rao film city.
