Lingaa producer Rockline Venkatesh has reportedly brought the Kabali release rights in Karnataka for a huge sum, Though there is no confirmation on the amount, some report claims that it is Rs 10 Cr. Venkatesh has earlier suffered a huge loss after Lingaa bombed at the box office but the team is now confident that the gangster saga will overtake all the records. The audio launch of Kabali is likely to take place in June and the film will grace theatres on July 1.
Directed by Pa Ranjith and produced by Thanu, the film also stars Radhika Apte, Dhaniskaa, and Kishore in prominent roles. Santosh Narayanan has composed the music tracks.
