Mani Ratnam is currently on the verge of wrapping up the shoot of his romantic thriller Kaatru Veliyidai. The team recently wrapped up its shoot in Ladakh and the next schedule is likely to be in Europe. It is reported that the initial plan was to shoot a song on a snow clad mountain in Himachal Pradesh, however, due to commutation issues the team has changed the location.
Starring Karthi and Aditi Rao in the lead, we hear that the team is planning to release the film as Valentine's treat on Feb 14, 2017. Also starring RJ Balaji, Shraddha Srinath, and Delhi Ganesh, the film has music by AR Rahman and cinematography by Ravi Varma.
