John to direct Jeevan?

Cinematographer John, son of veteran director Mahendran, who turned director with Vijay starrer Sachin, is all set to direct his second film. In all probability, Jeevan will be the hero. At present, Jeevan is working in Krishnaleelai, directed by Selvan.

John received a lot of praise for his work in Sachin. But for some unfathomable reason, he did not attempt any other film after Sachin. When he came out of his shell, he directed Aani Ver, a film based on the ethnical issue of Sri Lanka, which is still waiting for a green signal to release; it stars Nanda of Maunam Pesiyathey fame and Madhumitha in lead roles.

Jinnah Creations, who are making Seval with Bharath in the lead, will produce this film. Jinnah Creations was started by M.A. Jinnah, who is a very famous film distributor in Tiruchy district.
