Jiiva in Jhabaks’ next film
With their latest production Pokkisham (Cheran) almost completed, Jhabaks have started brainstorming for Vithai, their next film with Jiiva in the lead. Jhabaks have a glorious history – their Naan Avan Illai, Anjathe and Pandi were huge blockbusters.
Like all their previous blockbusters, Vithai too will definitely turn out a blockbuster. This film will be a “mass entertainer” and that is the reason Jiiva, who has become the new youth icon, has been selected as the hero. Vithai will be directed by a debutante director who had worked as an assistant director to Bhupathi Pandian and Seeman. The heroine of this film is yet to be selected.
After November 21st, his youth icon status will be exalted to a new level after the release of Thenavettu, which stars Jiiva and the new glamour girl of Kollywood Poonam Bajwa. Thenavettu is referred to as “a festival of youth” by its crew members.
It is heard that Jhabaks are planning to release Pokkisham on February 14th.
