Jeevan on home ground
Guess who is the most-envied star in Kollywood? After romancing five girls in Naan Avan Illai, Jeevan repeats his act in the sequel directed by Selva. The shoot is complete and the actor is now in a relaxed frame of mind.
Jeevan said the sequel, much like the original, is fashioned on the various get ups of his character. It has negative shades but his role is not totally negative, he says. "It is the girls who end up as suckers, falling prey to their greed and the desire to lead a lavish life. Though it is a sequel, the director has dispensed with the courtroom scenes to give it a totally different flavour. The action is more racy, with much of the shoot in the hot spots of Dubai and nearby locations," says Jeevan.
Is Jeevan at home in negative characters going by popularity of Khaka Khaka and Thiruttu Payale?. "Sometimes, you have to play along with the script. It is not that I give what the audience wants; rather, they have to endure what I portray," said this honest actor who speaks his mind.
Krishna Leelai is the another Jeevan film due for release. "The title is a misnomer; the character is NOT a love freak. On the contrary, he surfaces wherever there is an unlawful act," reveals Jeevan about his role in this flick.
