Ever since the announcement of Drishyam remake was out, speculations were rife that actresses Gauthami and Sridevi might join hands with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan in this film.
Director Jeetu Joseph, who helmed Drishyam will also be directing the Tamil version. However, the director has confirmed that actress Sridevi was not approached for the film. He further added that they are yet to finalize the project.
“For now, Kamal Haasan has been signed for the project and Asha Sharath is expected to join us as well,” says Jeetu Joseph. It is said that the shooting of this film is expected to commence in a week or two.
