Director Jeethu Joseph’s Papanasam is the Tamil remake of the Malayalam magnum opus Drishyam. Kamal Haasan and Gauthami (who is making a comeback) are reprising the roles of Mohanlal and Meena.
Recently, director Jeethu who helmed the original revealed that he has different plans for Papanasam. He stated that he has included a lot of stunt sequences which were not a part of the Malayalam version.
The team of Papanasam is now camping at Thodupuzha canning some important sequences. Actor Kalabhavan Mani will be seen in a pivotal role in this film.
