Jai goes for new guys!

Actor Jai is riding on a lucky streak – all his movies have done well at the box office and the actor’s career is moving forward steadily. Offers are coming in from all corners, but Jai seems to have a soft corner for new directors.

“Even before I turned actor, I had a lot of friends who were assistant directors. They all had good stories and a great deal of passion to make good cinema, but they did not have the right people to help them out. I used to say that if I could, I would help them out. And now I can do it to a certain extent, and I am! Moreover, these new directors are the ones who come to me with very different scripts, in which I have a good opportunity to play very unique roles,” explains the young actor, whose latest release Adhe Neram Adhe Idam is the directorial debut of Prabhu, an associate of director S.J. Suryah.
