We have been long harping on the Chennai 600028 actors’ friendship. But these youngsters keep surprising us with their camaraderie. This gang silences all those who claim that friendship between film actors is impossible.

In the recent 100-day celebrations of Saroja, every actor and crew member of the film was presented with a memento. As they were receiving the trophies, the MC described their roles in the film. When it was actor Jai’s turn, the MC announced that apart from his guest role in the film, he also assisted Venkat Prabhu. Though it was mentioned as a jolly good banter, it was admitted that Jai was quite helpful to Venkat on the sets of Saroja. Even after completing his work in Saroja, Jai had been hanging out with Venkat, Prem G., and Mirchi Shiva and had also assisted Venkat in a few scenes!

The Chennai 600028 gang love to hang out together and help each other. They still keep alive the camaraderie that began while acting in Chennai 600028. No wonder Venkat said that working in Chennai 600028 and Saroja was like going on a picnic!

So, will we get to see Jai – who is learning the tricks of film direction from Mr. Ace himself – directing a film some day?
