At last, the much-hyped Sarathkumar starrer Jaggubhai will grace theatres on January 29. The film has Shriya as the female lead.
A Radaan-Zee production venture by veteran director K.S. Ravikumar, Jaggubhai is the story of an Interpol officer who goes to Australia to nab an elusive international criminal. Jaggubhai has a lot of death-defying stunts sequences, with the climax taking place in a helicopter being at the pinnacle.
Earlier, the film was in the headlines for its illegal distribution over the Internet. Actors, including Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, and technicians of Kollywood convened a meeting at the Four Frames preview theatre in Chennai to raise their voices against this illegal activity and condemned the video piracy of Jaggubhai. Now the film is all set to compete against Goa and Tamil Padam.
