Big win for Imsai Arasan

Though Imsai Arasan was released after a long struggle it is gaining good at the box office and lighting the way for a bright future for the actors. Director Simbu Devan met Pondicherry chief minister Mr.Ranga Swamy in-person and requested him take steps against the illegal VCDs and DVDs of Imsai Arasan. The Chief Minister also promised to take steps on this issue.

Muthiah Muralitharan, spinner in the Sri Lankan cricket team watched this movie along with his family in Kamala theatre. Simbu Devan met him at the end of the movie. Muralitharan said “It is really a barnburner. I love to watch this kind of historical comedy movies. My children also liked the movie very much. Art, direction, cinematography and music are very pleasing. Vadivelu has done a commendable job.”
