Ilayaraja acts in a song

Maestro Ilayaraja has acted in a song in Azhagar Malai directed by S.P. Rajkumar. Actor-turned-producer Sangili Murugan, who produced films like Kadhalukku Mariyadhai is producing this flick which stars R.K. (of Thoondil fame) and Bhanu (of Thamirabarani fame) in the lead.

This is not the first time the Maestro has acted in a film; we had seen him in a cameo role in Puthu Puthu Arthangal. But in Azhagar Malai, Ilayaraja's appearance will be longer than in Puthu Puth Arthangal.
