The Madras High Court has directed the TamilNadu Government to have a "realistic and rational decision" with regard to the movie ticket prices in the state. Currently, there is a government cap of Rs 120 for the tickets because of which the theatre owners are facing huge revenue loss. The verdict came in after a long battle between the government and TN Theatre Owners Association.
