Actress-singer-music composer Shruti Haasan, daughter of veteran actor Kamal Haasan, celebrates her birthday today! Galatta.com wishes her a very very happy birthday and a wonderful year ahead.
Today, for the whole of Tamil Nadu and even Bollywood, Shruti only means Shruti Haasan; such is her charisma! She's much more than Kamal's daughter! Shruti Haasan made her singing debut at the age of six in her father's Thevar Magan. Later while pursuing her studies in school, Shruti made her singing debut in Hindi in Chachi 420. After rejecting prominent film offers, Shruti Haasan made her acting debut with Soham Shah's Luck opposite Imran Khan in 2009.
This actor-musician is currently busy with two films: Dil To Baccha Hai Ji in Hindi, and Murugadoss' 7am Arivu opposite Suriya in Tamil. Today, even before the release of her debut Tamil flick, she is a star here!
