Director K. Bhagyaraj is a multi faceted personality who also acts, writes and produces movies and serials. He is also the editor of the weekly magazine Bhagya and has also written several novels. He is celebrated across India for his unique way of writing screenplays for scripts.

His films were remade in Hindi by others and he has also written the scripts for many movies, which have gone on to make records at the box office. He gave a blockbuster hit with Amitabh Bachchan with the remake of director Bharathiraja's Oru Kaithiyin Diary in Hindi.
