Golden moment for Vijay

These are golden moments in Kollywood. On August 12, World Star Kamal Haasan completed his 50th year in Kollywood. On a different note, actor Vijay is on the threshold of a landmark – his 50th film is to be directed by S.P. Rajkumar, an action film good enough to whet the appetites of Vijay's fans. Sangili Murugan, a master in churning out quality movies, is the producer. Vijay's acting prowess came to the fore in Kadhalukku Mariyadhai produced by Murugan.

Director Rajkumar has the expertise of having worked in Ponmanam, En Purushan Kuzhandhai Madhire and a Malayalam flick Karmegam.

As of now, the title is yet to be decided though the buzz is that a catchy yesteryear title will be chosen. That Vijay needs a hit badly will be saying the obvious, following the back-to-back failurers of Azhagiya Tamizh Magan and the much hyped Villu.
