Gilles Jacob to attend India Pavilion 2009
Gilles Jacob, illustrious president of the Cannes Film Festival and marketing director Myriam Arab have finally confirmed they will attend the inauguration of the India Pavilion 2009 on May 14 at 12.00 noon at the 62nd Cannes Film Festival, said Varun Aggarwal, deputy director of the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM).
Galatta.com is the online media partner of India Pavilion 2009, organized from May 13 to 24 by ASSOCHAM in association with the India government’s Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Varun Aggarwal also informed that Cannes' senior officials Christian Jeune (director of film department), Jerome Paillard (executive director of Marche du Film) and Antoine de Clermont-Tonnerre (president Unifrance) have also confirmed their participation.
The India Pavilion 2009 is a great opportunity and platform for the Indian film industry to showcase our achievements.
