Gautham stole Manoj’s time!

One very important facet of a horror movie is the lighting and the camera work. So if you were awed by these to facets of Eeram, then the man to direct your praise to is Manoj Paramahamsa. Manoj is the cinematographer of Eeram, who got the opportunity to work in it because�director Arivazhagan and he studied together at the film institute. The amazing rapport the two share was pivotal to attaining such amazing horror effects in the movie.

But Eeram was not Manoj’s debut. Much before Arivazhagan got started, Manoj was on board Gautham Menon’s team to wield the camera for the now on-hold movie Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam. Since Gautham was busy making Vaaranam Aayiram and was making Chennaiyil Oru Mazhaikalam on off days, he needed an cinematographer who had flexible dates – who better than a debutant! But Gautham was so happy with Manoj’s work that he made him the cinematographer of the soon to release Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and another venture of his that is underway that stars Sameera Reddy and Tabu. Manoj is in fact booked for Gautham’s movie after that one as well, the Ajith starrer that is likely to take off in April! Looks like Gautham will not let go of Manoj for a long time to come!
