Gautham and team in Malta Islands
Galatta was the first to report director Gautham Menon's plan to pack off to Malta Islands with the entire cast and crew of Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. And now, Gautham has returned home after having a wonderful time with loads of satisfaction.
The director had decided to shoot parts of the film and a song in the exotic islands and had embarked on a three week schedule. Simbu and Trisha, the lead pair, naturally attended too and for a moment, the locals of the island thought that they were from Hollywood!
Malta Islands is a famous shooting spot for many Hollywood films, and is considered lucky. Gautham, who is no mood to make any compromises, decided to hire the best technicians and shoot the song sequences in locations which have never been explored in Indian films.
Later, the entire cast and crew were invited by the Indian Ambassador to Malta Islands, for a special dinner. Simbu was off to watch the Champions league finals between Barcelona and Manchester United.
Trisha stayed on for a couple of more days to enjoy the beaches and do some shopping, before returning to Chennai.
