Envis is my vision: Anitha Udheep

Anitha Udheep does not rest on her laurels. Daughter od none other than the Pentamedia Chandrasekharan, she could have lived the American dream, but she chose films and Kollywood as the place to be. Her next film Kulir 100 degrees is about teenagers and growing up.

It took six long years for Anitha to decide on Kulir 100 degrees after undertaking a thorough market research and analysing the kind of cinema that audiences would appreciate. She has now started her own entertainment company called Envis, where 'En' stands for my in Tamil, and 'vis' is for vision in English.

Anitha promises that the film is a clean entertainer and is something that everyone can relate to. When asked about what exactly the film deals with, she said that the film is all about friendship and you will have to watch it to understand! In short, it is about the wonder years of teenage life!

Anitha Udheep was one among the five people selected to work under Hollywood director Steven Spielberg for his science fiction series Taken. With a degree in film-making and experience under Steven Spielberg, she is well poised to take Tamil cinema to great heights!

Kulir 100 degrees has been shot extensively in London, Ooty and Switzerland. Anitha joins the list of young film makers who have returned from the US to make films in Kollywood, as they discovered that a career in films is their calling!
