Ennai Theriyuma Press Meet
On January 23rd, the press meet of Ennai Theriyuma’s (also spelt as Yennai Theriyuma) was held at Four Frames Theatre. It was presided over by director P. Vasu and Dr. Mohan Babu, eminent Tollywood actor and father of the film’s hero Manoj.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Babu said that though he made a career in Telugu films and settled in Andhra Pradesh, Chennai is like his adoptive mother who nursed him. He reminisced how Rajinikanth and he stayed together in Pondy Bazaar, Chennai, during their days of struggle in the film industry.
Dr. Mohan also said that Tamil Nadu has always welcomed several actors from other languages with open arms. He even pointed out that Nadigar Sangam’s emblem, a mother standing with her four kids, symbolized its motherly care for the actors from all the four (Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada) Southern film industries. Through the media, the thespian requested the Tamil audience to extend their support to his son Manoj. Following his speech, Ennai Theriyuma was screened for the media personnel.
