En Kadhal Devathai: From a stuntman

En Kadhal Devathai is produced by stunt-choreographer S. Hamitabh Raja, who has choreographed the stunts of innumerable South Indian films. Just a few months ago, we saw Jaguar Thangam, a renowned stunt choreographer produce Surya to launch his son Vijay Chiranjeevi. Now, stunt choreographer Hamitabh Raja is making a film. When we say he is making a film, we mean it literally because he is not only the producer, but its story writer, screenplay writer, dialogue writer, stunt choreographer and director. He dons almost all the roles that are essential to make a film. Phew! Hamitabh is incredibly talented and confident! Newcomers Rakshan and Ruksha are in the lead roles.

The film is based on a popular theme – revenge, portraying the life of a placid, happy man who turns violent to avenge his family’s death at the hands of the mafia. While on this mission, he falls in love with a girl. Now, he has to make a choice: Revert to his old calm nature and live happily with his lover (or) Complete his destructive mission. What happens next has been told in an interesting manner. Since the film is made by a stunt choreographer, there is no doubt the emphasis is high on stunts. And Hamitabh does not disappoint. In fact, he has made the film like a an experienced filmmaker.

The supporting cast of this film comprises Kadhal Thandapani, Senthil, Nalini, Kadhal Sukumar, Nalini, Abhita, Thalapathi Dinesh, Vaigai David, and Master Maruvan.

Music has been composed by Kapileshwaran, who worked as an associate of A.R. Rahman. Cinematography is by Sai Nataraj.
