Disappointed Vijay fans shut his website

The Ilayathalapthy Vijay website run by the Vijay Fans' Network (VFN) has been shut down. The VFN team claims that they have been forced to close the site as there has been no support from Vijay's office in terms of content like exclusive news and stills. The team further added that others were trying to take credit for all the work done by them and they felt it was best to close the site rather than fight with them.

But this does not mean that the fans have lost faith in their star. They say that they will continue to love and support Vijay and his movies. This should be heartening for Vijay, given that fans are very vital for a celebrity's success, especially in South Indian Cinema.

Though no clarifications have been given from Vijay's office, we hope the issue is sorted out amicably.
