Director Kalanjiam turns actor

Director Kalanjiam has joined the group of directors turning actors! Kalanjiam will play the role of a drug peddler in his next film Karungali, starring Anjali, Sunitha Verma, Asmitha and Shrinivasan in the main roles.

“The screenplay of my story will be different. Just as one can’t predict which flower a butterfly will sit on in a garden, so also, one will not be able to predict what happens next in my film. The screenplay will be really interesting. Moreover, unlike other films, every character in this film is a lead character. There’s a particular sequence in this film which has been shot at the rate of 134 frames per second. Usually, fight sequences are shot at 24 frames per second. This fight sequence will probably be the first of its kind in Tamil cinema,” the director said to a leading English daily.
