Dindigul Sarathy’s audio launch on Sun Music

Innovative audio launches started with Mohan’s comeback vehicle Suttapazham which held its audio launch in a radio station. Ever since then, every filmmaker is trying to bring some novelty in their audio launches! Aegan followed suit by launching its audio at a radio station. Now, Dindigul Sarathy (also referred to as Dindigul Sarathi) has launched its audio in a TV station (Sun Music) and the proceedings were telecast live on the channel!

Dindigul Sarathy, in which Karunas is the protagonist, is a remake of Vadakku Nokki Yenthram, a popular Malayalam film by Sreenivasan. Recently, Sreenivasan’s Katha Parayumpol was remade in Tamil as Kuselan with Rajinikanth, Pasupathy and Meena.  Dindigul Sarathy speaks about the inferiority complex of a plain-looking man married to a beautiful girl and its results, albeit in a hilarious manner. Karthika (of Nam Nadu fame) is the heroine.

With beautiful performances from the film’s lead pair and proper guidance from director Shanmugam, there is no doubt Dindigul Sarathy will touch your heart while tickling your funny bone.

Trivia: Astha Chamma (Telugu) was the first film in the South to launch its audio in a radio station!
