Life surely has come full circle for Deepika Padukone. The actress was to star opposite Superstar Rajinikanth in Rana and even shot for the film but unfortunately due to Rajini Sir's ill-health the project had to be put on hold. However Deepika can now rejoice as she has been confirmed to play the female lead opposite Rajinikanth in the actor's next project Kochadaiyaan.

Kochadaiyaan directed by Rajinikanth's daughter Soundarya R.Ashwin is a multi-lingual 3D film that will have music by none other than A.R.Rahman. Besides Rajini Sir and Deepika, the film stars Shobhana, Nassar, R.Sarath Kumar and Jackie Shroff in a cameo.
