Dasavathaaram overcomes legal hassles

The Madras High Court has dismissed the two petitions against Dasavathaaram which claimed that the film contained some scenes that offended�Hindus. Following this, producer Oscar Ravichandran has declared that the film will be released on June 11, 2008 instead of June 6, 2008.

The film is having a grand opening and about one thousand prints of the film have been developed for its release. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu in India simultaneously.

It is a habit of Mr. Ravichandran to provide “anna danam” (providing food to the underprivileged) during the release of his films. He is going to hold “anna danam” for several orphans during the release of Dasavathaaram also.
