Children's Home of Hope: Sponsor a brick

Children's Home of Hope (CHOH), a Chennai based non-profit organization, effectively run by a group of housewives has launched a new initiative -- The Brick Project -- on Friday. The new project aims to build residential homes, a well equipped primary school, a clinic and many other basic requirement for the welfare of 100 underprivileged children. The project cost is estimated to be Rs. 250 lakhs.

"Our children come from varied backgrounds and our primary aim is not just to give them a roof over their heads till they become old enough to be independent and head out on their own," Mrs. Indrani Sivaram, President, CHOH said in a press release.

"We have to raise a sum of Rs. 2.50 crores to complete this project successfully and we believe that with a little help from everyone, it is very achievable," she added.
