Carnatic singer Sowmya sings for Achamundu Achamundu

This news will double�the joy of all the Carnatic music aficionados who enjoyed the work of Bombay Jayshri and Nithyashree in films. Renowned Carnatic signer Sowmya has sung a song for Achamundu Achamundu�at the request of�director Arun Vaidyanathan and music director Karthik Raja.

With its post-production work completed, Achamundu Achamundu, the film with many firsts, will have an international premiere at a film festival soon. Recently, the film’s sound mixing was completed by Hollywood sound engineer Marti Humprey, who worked in films like Grudge, Exorcism of Emily Rose and The Strangers.

Starring Prasanna, Sneha, and Emmy Award winner John Shea, Achamundu Achamundu is one of the most eagerly-awaited films of 2009. There are several reasons for public curiosity about the film. Some of them: Achamundu Achamundu is the first Indian film to be shot with RED ONE camera; it stars several Hollywood actors, including John Shea, who became quite popular in India for his role as Lex Luther in the TV series Lois and Clarke,�a�top-rated primetime�TV show�a few years ago; Achamundu Achamundu’s thrilling storyline; and renowned Hollywood producer Michael Peyser and visual effects expert John Labrie’s words of appreciation for it.

We guess it's better to call Achamundu Achamundu a film made by Indians in Hollywood! Not only it was filmed in New Jersey, US,�even its postproduction took place in Hollywood; even�the film was developed at Fotokem, one of the leading labs in Hollywood!
